Aquatic facilities at Rimondi Grand Resort and Spa include three outdoor swimming pools perfect for no stress vacation: Pasithea, Galini and Alia. Their names correspond to three Nereids, minor deities of the waters, according to Greek mythology.

Private Beach

A window on the Cretan sea

Resort & Spa offers its guests the best services and facilities on the island. To make every stay comfortable, the resort provides the guests an exclusive access to its private beach. Rimondi Grand Resort & Spa’s beach is easily accessible by free shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus departs every hour from 11 am until 6 pm from the hotel grounds. The journey is approximately 5 minutes, 1.200 m. Besides, the guests can use same shuttle bus service to come back to the hotel. The beach is a natural rocky strip, well-equipped with all necessary amenities you might need for total relaxation and leisure time. Feel the clear blue waters of the Cretan Sea while you are diving or let the sun touch your skin. Moreover, we are pleased to offer for our guests free of charge sunbeds and umbrellas. At the beach, you’ll find as well a bar which serves refreshing beverages and small snacks. Take a break and spend the whole day sunbathing and swimming at our private beach! The name “Dimitra” (Δήμητρα) comes from the Greek Mythology and means “Mother Earth”. She was the goddess of the grain, agriculture, fertility, harvest, growth, and nourishment.

Relax in an elegant and spacious surrounding while tempting the palate with local and international cuisines from a varied fabulous buffet. Our chef goes to the market every day to buy locally produced ingredients for his traditional Cretan dishes, which also include excellent vegetarian options. We have also made a selection of our favorite Greek wines to complete your taste experience.
