Rimondi Grand Resort & Spa is located in the peaceful village of Nea Magnisia, approximately 13km from the center of Rethymnon and approximately 1.200 meters from the beach of Stavromenos. The resort is found in a wonderful location which has peaceful surroundings and is connected to the village of Nea Magnisia on the one side and to an amazing little gorge with plantations on the other side.
A peaceful experience is offered whilst one enjoys the resort’s amazing views over the Cretan sea on the front side and the natural environment on the other side create the perfect atmosphere for customers seeking peace and relaxation within nature.
Rimondi Grand Resort’s goal is to achieve personal communication with our guests by introducing them to the authentic Cretan culture and traditions. Meals made with local products introduce our customers to the delicious & healthy Cretan cuisine which is prepared with fresh products from the neighboring villages. The large sweet water infinity swimming pool is elevated to a higher level and gives guests the impression that they have the sea at the edge of the pool. No chlorine products are used as we have installed the high tech electroeluted salt mechanism that creates a sterilizing agent from natural salt whilst keeping the water sweet and germ free.

TRULLY EXCEPTIONAL! Just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at the Rimondi Grand and have to say this is a truly exceptional hotel! It breaks the mould of routine holiday hotels by combining top quality with an individual and personal service of the highest standards. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday either as a couple or a family there can be no finer place to stay! EXCELLENT! Our experience at Rimondi was phenomenal. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and very kid friendly, as we had our two sons with us , both under 3! The pool is fabulous, the rooms are spacious and clean, the food is delicious (especially the salads!) and the decor is splendid. We will definitely be back again next year!!! (@tripadvisor)

GREAT RESORT FOR A CRETE HOLIDAY! The Rimondi Grand was a great base for our short holiday visit to Crete. The room was clean, with a comfy bed, great bathroom, and sitting area with cool AC. The pool had a great view of the sea. Breakfast was a great value, with a large buffet choice to fit all tastes. Friday night was “Greek night,” with dancers and entertainment by the pool. The manager and his family appeared to actually live at the resort, and it was nice to see all the interactions with the guests–made the visit more “homely” (@tripadvisor)
